Provisional Licenses:
Teenage drivers with provisional licenses can apply for a license removing the restriction after completing a six-month probationary period without any violations. If you are under 18, you MUST bring a parent to sign. There is a $15 fee for a duplicate license. You must ask to remove the "provisional" restrictions from the license…it does not automatically change.
VEHICLE TRANSACTIONS -
Due to the fact that every vehicle transaction is different depending on the state, releasing signatures, etc. - you need to bring in your documentation and completed forms to be examined by the DMV agent. General rule of thumb is "You need a title to get a title". Bring in your current title with you, complete the Vehicle Registration form , and provide payment. These are very general rules. You can get detailed information by visiting the DMV website.
