The Skagway Police Department is now an approved agency to process fingerprinting for Hazmat drivers. Please follow the instructions listed below prior to coming in and having your fingerprints taken and filling out the Application for Hazardous Materials Endorsement.

HAZMAT DRIVER FINGERPRINT APPLICATION PROCESS

1. An application has to be completed online at www.hazprints.com or by phone at 877-429-7746 (Press 1 to get operator). This has to be done before being fingerprinted.

2. The online application has to be paid for by credit card. You can also pay for the application by money order but only at Skagway Police Department.

3. Bring in the hard copy of the application and proper identification.

4. Application must be completely filled out and signed by the applicant at the fingerprint site.

5. The Chain of Custody form must be fully completed and checked by the fingerprint operator.

6. Failure to complete steps 1 2 3 can delay your application 3 to 4 weeks.
